Petroleum Development Company Oman has recently announced a tie-up with three Omani small and medium business enterprises to discuss opportunities in marketing and resolve human resource issues. The alliance with Areena Digital Marketing Company is aimed at creating an online risk monitoring and awareness program so as to support the Omani entrepreneurial community.
“The agreement with PDO is a huge opportunity for us. We not only get to share our expertise in digital marketing with PDO but also highlight the need for social media security with fellow SMEs in the country,” says Eng. Mubarak Al Hadadi the CEO of Areena.
Although social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter contribute significantly towards managing and maintaining online brand reputation, it’s essential for brands to realize the high risk of threats. The awareness program stresses on the need for social media security.
“The Areena team can help Corporate to protect their brands and reputation without falling victim to brand-damaging events like hacking, malicious links, brand impersonation, and other suspicious activity,” he adds.
Through the awareness program, the team aims to help entrepreneurs manage access to their digital content and track social media to promote a positive brand image. They will also be shown how to monitor customer conversations to prevent a crisis before it even begins.
Continually monitoring social media activity ensures that companies stay safe and secure online at all times.
